We offer broad-based programs in environmental and occupational health for graduate students and occupational medicine physicians. Our faculty are interested in studying occupational/environmental health and the influence of environment on the health of the population and its workforce.

Residency Programs

The UK College of Public Health Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health offers  two  ACGME-accredited  residencies leading to eligibility for examination by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.

General Preventive Medicine - Public Health Residency

Residents earn a Master of Public Health from the UK College of Public Health, and will be eligible and prepared to sit for Board Certification in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine.

Occupational Medicine Residency

A two-year program that provides residents with the qualifications to sit for Board Certification in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
