Dr. Meredith Duncan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics. She is Kentucky native and has bled blue for as long as she can remember. Her PhD is in Epidemiology, but she has a strong analytic background and considers herself an Applied Biostatistician. She has worked in cardiovascular research for seven years and supports UK's Cardiovascular Research Priority Area. Her personal research focuses on smoking and health disparities. Dr. Duncan primarily teaches graduate-level courses aimed at equipping students with skills in scientific writing.
