Dr. Tisha K. Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health. She is also the Director of the General Preventive Medicine - Public Health Residency Program. Dr. Johnson is board certified in Preventive Medicine. Previously, she served as the 14th Luther L. Terry Fellow within the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and Human Services, working on training projects related to preventing adverse drug events and health literacy. She is currently serving on the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) Health Systems Transformation Task Force, the ACPM Graduate Medical Education Committee, the ACPM Standardized Acceptance Process Task Force, and Chairing the ACPM Council of Preventive Medicine Residency Directors. She is also representing ACPM on the Organization of Program Director Associations within the Council of Medical Specialty Societies.
