Purpose

Call for Schedule.

Procedure

Biannually the Registrar’s office will send out a course scheduling and zevplan access window email with specific deadlines and information on schedule building for an upcoming term.  The send dates have been as follows: scheduling window opens in January for following Spring term / scheduling window opens in November for following Fall & Summer terms.

Process

The Academic Affairs Administrator (AAA) receives email from the Registrar’s office including the Schedule Planning Audit report.

  • The AAA will use those reports to create department and program specific schedule building excel spreadsheets. 

  • The AAA creates a schedule building timeline that includes all info from the Registrar’s email and due dates. The AAA sends the timeline to the Associate Dean for Academics for review.

  • The AAA schedules meetings, sends program view spreadsheets, and meets with all Program Directors to review their program’s course offerings and takes notes of any program specific requests.

  • The AAA updates the department schedule building spreadsheets to Chairs, Vice Chairs, and Dept Administrative Managers with a specific deadline for them to return the spreadsheet to the AAA.

  • The AAA enters all CPH course offerings into ZEVPLAN (SAP scheduling system) by Registrar’s deadline.
