Overrides/Special Course Enrollments – Used when a student cannot enroll but obtains permission (ie: prerequisites, controlled enrollment, booking rules, capacity).
Instructor of the course must provide approval in writing to the AAA in order for any override to take place. Once granted instructor permission, the AAA can apply the override and enroll the student in the course. The AAA will notify the student that they have been registered.
The student contacts the instructor for permission to enroll. The instructor then sends an email, copying AAA, to approve the enrollment.
Once the AAA receives an override request email, they apply the override via myUK, Student Administration Tab --> Advising Services Tab --> Registration (GPS) (left side) --> Assign Student Overrides (left side).
Search for a student then select the semester, course and section for the override and assign the appropriate override and save.
Approval email or contact from the instructor. myUK access to overrides.
