Everyone has the opportunity to create directory profile on the website. The directory profiles can include name, title, phone number, email address, program/department/position affiliation, professional picture, biography, education, interests, and more.

The directory profiles are strongly encouraged as they help give everyone the opportunity to know who you are, what you do, and how to contact you. Directory profiles can be tagged to help connect your profile to news, events, and more.

Process & Procedures

  • Send a request on the Marketing and Communications page here.
  • Directory profiles include adding, updating, deleting, or making a quick fix.
  • Make sure to indicate your website profile affiliation which includes the College of Public Health, Center for Innovation in Population Health, and/or the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center (KIPRC).
  • Complete the Qualtrics survey thoroughly.
  • Requests are completed in the order of which they are received.
  • When published, you will receive a communication of your profile for approval.

Best Practices

  • Include a recent, high-resolution professional photo for your profile. If you need a new or updated professional photo, the Marketing and Communications team can discuss those options with you.
  • A biography of at least 2-3 paragraphs introducing yourself by name, title, department, responsibilities, and role(s) in the college.
  • If applicable, we strongly encourage including an updated resume/CV and research interests (be specific).
  • Review your profile periodically throughout the year for accuracy and needed updates.
  • An example of a completed profile is here.
