Hyeeun Shin is a doctoral student in Health Services Research at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. With a Master’s degree in Human Welfare Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Hyeeun has a strong background in identifying and meeting the needs of people. Hyeeun has also volunteered and worked in various health-related settings, including as a social worker in an elderly care management center and as a helper at various children’s programs.
Hyeeun’s research interests include family and children’s resilience and health disparities, and currently working as a Research Assistant at the Center for Innovation in Population Health. Hyeeun is fluent in Japanese and Korean, has strong research skills, and makes a valuable member of any integrative team in the field of public health.
