Departments & Programs

Nathan Rudder serves as the Institutional Philanthropy Officer Senior supporting the College of Public Health and the College of Education at the University of Kentucky.

Prior to joining the College in 2023, Mr. Rudder was an Assistant Director in the Development Office at The Rockefeller University in New York, where he led donor-facing programming on behalf of the University from 2019-2023. From 2011-2016, he managed the Office of Academic and Research Programs at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, and was an adjunct lecturer in sustainability management.

Mr. Rudder graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2009 with a BA in German. While an undergraduate, he worked as a regional grant coordinator in the UK College of Agriculture’s Tracy Farmer Center for the Environment, supporting environmental education in central Kentucky schools. In 2011, he completed his MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University.
