Dr. Terry Bunn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health and the Department of Epidemiology. She is also Director of the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center (KIPRC). At KIPRC, Dr. Bunn is the Principal Investigator for the Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health Surveillance, Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation, Core Violence and Injury Prevention, and State Injury Prevention programs. She is currently working in the areas of injury and illness surveillance and prevention, including the prevention of motor vehicle injuries, and drug poisonings in both the general and working populations. Dr. Bunn's drug overdose prevention research focuses on drug overdose fatality surveillance using multiple data sources, opioid exposures and health outcomes, and developing and implementing community interventions such as the FindHelpNowKY.org website that timely links Individuals to substance use disorder treatment.
