Dr. Anne Ray is an Associate Professor of Health, Behavior & Society.

She is a prevention scientist with research interests in the (1) etiology and prevention of high-risk substance use among adolescent and emerging adult populations, (2) utilization of technology to adapt, improve, and extend the reach of evidenced-based programming, and (3) application of dissemination and implementation science frameworks to scale up evidence-based programming and improve program dissemination for maximum impact.

Her current funded work focuses on the development and evaluation of a web-app to increase parent-teen communication around alcohol use, funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

Since joining the University of Kentucky's College of Public Health in 2019,
