By supporting the UK College of Public Health, you help provide the best education for tomorrow's health champions. Your support helps with scholarships and financial aid for student success; faculty support, retention, and recruitment; research funding, facilities and technology improvements; and additional resources that can be used wherever the need is greatest.

A Planned Gift

A planned gift is one of the most effective ways of giving. There are many types of planned gifts, from a simple bequest to a charitable trust. It is important for you to carefully select the best methods and assets for making such a gift. Gift planning will enable you to assist the college in its mission of education, research and service while also reducing your burden of income, capital gains, or estate taxes.

Annual Support

Regular contributions to the College of Public Health Excellence Fund are used for the greatest need, thereby strengthening every area of the college. Annual support is critical for maintaining the excellence of all of our programs, departments, students, and more. Annual giving supports:

  • Scholarships
  • Research by students and faculty
  • Opportunities for Student travel to regional and national conferences
  • Alumni outreach activities
  • Campus lectures and presentations by prominent educators
  • Facilities, technology, and equipment maintenance and improvement
  • The college’s ability to quickly respond to timely opportunities

Endowments

Setting up a specific gift to perpetually support a student scholarship, faculty position, program, and/or research award will guarantee continued excellence and success of the College of Public Health. This gift can be in honor or in memory of a loved one, friend, or colleague. Matching funds may be available to quickly increase the support of an endowment.
