University-wide Navigation

We invite applicants and current students to learn about all of the financial support opportunities to help make their educational investment affordable. The College of Public Health also offers scholarships to qualified students in specific programs.

For domestic US students, the search for financial aid should begin with filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application establishes eligibility for federally supported grants, loans, and work study positions.

Financial Aid Options

  • Grants and Scholarships - this is money you do not have to pay back.
  • Loans - subsidized, unsubsidized, and private loans are available through a variety of sources.
  • Work - eligible students can apply for positions through the Federal Work Study Program.

As we become aware of external scholarship opportunities, we will share them here. Bookmark this page, as new opportunities will be added as they become known. Please note that an “external scholarship” refers to funds that are awarded by agencies outside of the University of Kentucky. Neither the UK Office of Student Financial Aid nor the UK College of Public Health has a role in the application or selection processes for these awards, and cannot guarantee their terms or conditions.
