Dr. Tapp is the Coordinator with the Kentucky Safe Aging Coalition. After a successful military career, he served as an administrator managing five schools offering degree-level, vocational, and adult education credentials with the Kentucky Department of Corrections and the Fayette County Detention Center for 24 years. Roy has shared his local and state-level experiences via publishing/speaking, as well as having taught for over 20 years including at Midway University and the Bluegrass Community/ Technical College. Began with the University of Kentucky at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Research, then proceeded to Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center (KIPRC).
