On May 04, 2022, the United in True Racial Equality (UNITE) will host the 2022 UNITE Research Showcase, which is centered around elevating and promoting the importance of racial equity research at the University of Kentucky, across the Commonwealth, and beyond. The UK College of Public Health is a co-sponsor.
This event, which will be held in the Gatton Student Center, is free and open to UK faculty, staff, and students – in addition to UK affiliates and academic partners.
Aspects of the event will include keynote addresses from national leaders in their fields, breakout sessions presented by local researchers, and a poster session designed to highlight the impactful work of our faculty and students.
UK faculty, trainees, and students are invited to submit their poster session presentations under topics including Arts and Humanities, Economics and Law, Education, Health Equity, and Social Justice.
The student and trainee poster session will be a competition, with prizes awarded to the top three posters in the postdoctoral/graduate and undergraduate categories.
While the UNITE Research Showcase is free, registration is required for all attendees. This event is open to faculty, staff, students, UK affiliates, and academic partners.
