The University of Kentucky's College of Public Health (CPH) and the Student Public Health Association (SPHA) are sponsoring a faculty/staff food drive to donate to the Big Blue Pantry on campus from November 9th - 16th.
Located in the basement of White Hall Classroom Building (room 025) next to the Post Office, the Big Blue Pantry is open to any University of Kentucky student with a valid UK ID experiencing food insecurity or hunger.
A recent campus study found that more than 40% of UK students experience some level of food insecurity during their college career.
To support Big Blue Pantry's mission, we are asking our CPH community to come together to donate certain non-perishable items which can be dropped off in our Student Engagement & Academic Success (SEAS) office in Suite 120 at Research Facility #1 located at 111 Washington Avenue on campus.
Non-perishable items requested:
Vegetarian and gluten-free options needed.
