The 2022 ASPPH Undergraduate Conference for Education in Public Health is Thursday, September 22, and brings together academic public health educators, professionals, and students involved or interested in undergraduate education in public health.

The virtual conference highlights innovative educational models and practices, pedagogies, and pathways to student success. The conference agenda consists of a full day of learning and networking with colleagues from across the country who are dedicated to improving undergraduate public health education.

"The ASPPH Undergraduate Conference provides a great opportunity for faculty and staff to connect with individuals from other programs who share our mission of educating the next generation of public health leaders," says Dr. Sarah Cprek, assistant professor and director of undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. "Of all the virtual conferences I have attended over the last few years, this was by far the most useful. Presenters provide practical guidance on ways to improve our courses and the student experience."

Expert faculty researchers and educators from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health (CPH) will be presenting at this conference on a variety of public health undergraduate education topics:

Event registration can be found here. ASPPH will also host their 2023 spring annual meeting, which incorporates both graduate and undergraduate education sessions.

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) represents the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)-accredited member schools and programs of public health.

ASPPH promotes the efforts of schools and programs of public health to improve the health of every person through education, research, and policy.

Based upon the belief that “you’re only as healthy as the world you live in,” ASPPH works with stakeholders to develop solutions to the most pressing health concerns and provides access to the ongoing initiatives of the schools of public health.
