Jessica Hicks, MPA
Community Intervention Program Manager
Jessie Hicks is a Community Intervention Program Manager.
Jessie has approximately seven years of experience in higher education administration and project management, and just over two years of experience in Public Health.
Her previous employers include Eastern Kentucky University (Richmond, KY) and George Mason University (Fairfax, VA). She joined the Kentucky Injury Prevention & Research Center team in 2020 as a Prevention Research Coordinator on the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) grant funded by CDC.
In 2022, she transitioned into a Program Manager role on the same grant working directly with local/regional health department staff to provide direction and leadership for Jail Education Programs (JEPs) and innovative drug overdose prevention mini grants.
Jessie graduated from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies, and again in 2017 with a Master of Public Administration degree.
