Meredith Stevenson Duncan, PhD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Meredith Duncan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and is a Kentucky native.
Dr. Duncan’s PhD is in Epidemiology, but she has a strong analytic background and considers herself an applied biostatistician. She has worked in cardiovascular research since 2013. Her personal research focuses on cardiovascular epidemiology among historically marginalized groups.
Dr. Duncan is currently the PI on an R21 focused on improving the estimation of lifetime cigarette smoking's impact on cardiovascular disease risk in various populations.
Dr. Duncan teaches graduate-level courses aimed at equipping students with skills in scientific writing, data management in SAS, and survival analysis.
