Dr. Khine Zin Aung graduated from University of Medicine 2, Myanmar and got Medicine Bachelor, Bachelor Surgery (M.B; B.S) degree from this University in 2017. After she graduated from medical university, she worked as a medical officer at a clinic and gave treatment to patients, health education, counselling patients to get better life, and responsibilities for clinical records.
In 2018, she has studied as a visiting researcher at Histochemistry and Cell biology department, Miyazaki University, Japan. In 2023, she got her PhD in medicine at Public Health department, Miyazaki University, Japan. Starting from July of 2023, she will be working as a post-doctoral scholar at the department of biostatistics at the College of Public Health, University of Kentucky.
She has experiences with epidemiology, statistics, mathematical modelling, biomolecular experiments concerning with gene polymorphisms in cancer patients and animal experiments (DNA extraction, RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, gene cutting, PCR, FCM) concerning with autoimmune diseases. She also has a wide knowledge of various medical fields, healthcare system, and disease management.
