I-Chen Chen, Ph.D., is a statistician in the Division of Field Studies and Engineering at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), CDC since 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the College of Public Health, University of Kentucky in 2018, specializing in longitudinal data analysis. He also received a Master in Statistics from Colorado State University. During his doctoral program, his dissertation concentrated on improved methods and selecting classification types for time-dependent covariates in the marginal analysis of longitudinal data. Dr. Chen extends his dissertation findings to current research that focuses on statistical methodology, using marginal mean regression and quantile regression models, for environmental exposure and biomonitoring data with repeated measurements.
