The University of Kentucky's College of Public Health welcomes alum Dr. Tim Crawford, Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Population and Public Health Sciences at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine, to our EPI/BIO Lecture Series on November 3rd, 2022, at 12pm - 1pm via Zoom.

"Exploring the Impact of Stigma and Discrimination on Engagement in HIV Care"
Biography:
Timothy N. Crawford, Ph.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Population and Public Health Sciences at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Dr. Crawford is an epidemiologist and biostatistician who has experience collaborating with a number of researchers across a number of fields. His research focuses on understanding better how HIV related stigma and other forms of discrimination impacts engagement in HIV care among older African Americans living with HIV. In addition, he is interested in leveraging existing data to examine how substance use impacts engagement along the HIV care continuum.
