The First Annual KPHA Student Engagement PreConference, part of the Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA) 2023 Annual Conference, will be hosted by the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) in partnership with the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville.

This one-day preconference will provide our students an opportunity to learn more about public health careers, engage with fellow public health students and staff, and begin building a professional network. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.

Agenda includes:

  • Opening speaker with KPHA President Elect, Meagan Hurst, alumna of the MPH in Epidemiology program at the UK College of Public Health
  • Interactive breakout sessions
  • Round table discussion
  • Catered meals and snacks
  • Games and prizes

Participants must arrange transportation either through their respective school or through self-transportation.
