"Having devoted most of my professional career to leading organizations that serve older and disabled adults, and now focusing on helping to develop tomorrow’s health and human services leaders, receiving this recognition from my peers in the senior living field is both humbling and affirming," says Knapp.

Knapp adds, "ACHCA is the professional society for post-acute care administrators, and my involvement with this group over the past four decades has been extremely rewarding with respect to sharing high-impact practices to improve care and services, as well as elevating the standards for entry to and performance in the field."
