Julia F. Costich, JD, PhD, is the Peter P. Bosomworth Professor of Health Services Research in the Department of Health Management and Policy, where she currently serves as interim department chair and has been a faculty member since 1998. She directs the research core at the Kentucky Injury Prevention & Research Center (KIPRC).
Dr. Costich teaches in the CPH graduate programs and at the J. David Rosenberg College of Law at the University of Kentucky. Her prior administrative roles include director of the Master of Health Administration program, KIPRC director and associate director, and department chair. Her research interests focus on health law and policy, particularly as they affect vulnerable populations.
