The college Listservs are used to communicate broad, inclusive messages to all staff, faculty, and/or to the entire college. These listservs are maintained internally monthly, where they are cross-referenced with the college active employee roster to maintain accuracy.
The lists have established editors and owners (which can be modified) that have certain permissions, including approving or denying messages to the listserv.
