Each course that is part of a program will have student learning outcomes that are mapped to program learning outcomes. The program course student learning outcomes are otherwise known as competencies.
Competencies for each course cannot be changed without approval from the program director. The syllabus template for each class will contain both the program learning outcomes and the Program Course Student Learning Outcomes. The Program Course Student Learning Outcomes will be evaluated at the end of each semester as part of accreditation.
Each program has a set of program outcomes and course level outcomes that align to an assessment plan. A copy of this plan can be obtained from the Program Director or the Director of Accreditation and Evaluation.
